Kid's Consignment Sales

Before children I never really thought about shopping or browsing consignment sales..It wasn't for me, so I thought! Recently I had the pleasure of working at a Kids Kloset Consignment sale in Nassau county and I just couldn't believe my eyes..They had thousands of items for children ranging in all different age groups from toys to clothes...Halloween costumes to bikes and gadgets..Everything you could possibly  think of.. The sale went on for the weekend and it was amazing to see the deals and items that people were getting..A pregnant young mother shopped for her unborn baby boy and got everything from the crib to the stroller for less then 200.00 dollars in great condition..It was unbelievable...With the economy now it's so hard to  get everything you need for your children..Why not shop sales when you can.. I even bought the boys a smart cycle for 20.00 dollars with 2 games....Yes ladies you heard me right 20 dollars..Its practically brand new..I have also signed up to see some of our stuff at the next one..I also love it because they carefully review your items and they do not accept anything that is not in great shape..which is a plus for all...

Helping Hands

I decided to start a blog about helping others..It's a place you can go to trade your gently used items once your children have grown out of them or no longer want them...Children grow so fast and sometimes we accumulate so much and never really use it..Why not trade or give to someone who is in need of it..I know from having 2 sons so close in age that we bought so many clothes and shoes and toys...Before I knew it the boys were outgrowing everything, I was able to pass everything down to my nephew who is around the same age..It has saved my sister in law a lot of money and time..I felt better that someone was able to use them and not have to throw them away..So why not post here if your children are done with their 3-6 months clothes...trade with a mom for bigger sizes...Give away the toy that is just sitting in the closet taking up space..Children grow quicker then we can keep up!
